Meri O'Connell for Tilehurst

Meri O'Connell has been a familiar face in Tilehurst for many years - she has been a councillor there for 14 years and is a tireless campaigner for her community.  She has an unparalleled record of action and hard work in Tilehurst, from helping residents with vital housing and welfare issues, to fixing lamp-posts and getting the council to commit to refurbish the Meadway Rec.

Meri has lived in Tilehurst for decades.  A former youth worker, she is now a teacher in a local school.
