You'll have surely guessed the theme for Men's Health Week 2020. It's 'Take Action on Covid-19'. The week runs from 15-21 June.
It is looking at what we can all do to prevent the virus from doing more damage by taking actions to avoid spreading the virus, getting the best out of lockdown and beating underlying conditions.
Men’s Health Week is organised by the Men’s Health Forum and takes place every year in the week preceding Father’s Day. Men are often embarrassed and hesitant to discuss their health causing men’s health to be seen as a taboo topic.
We don't know everything about Covid-19, but some things we do know. Young or old, rich or poor, fit or unfit, men are twice as likely to die of Covid-19 as their female counterparts.
There are many ways to take part in Men’s Health Week and many more stats to see. They can be seen here and the events can be followed on social media through the hashtag #menshealthweek
